Spotlight Sing: Chanda Rule’s ‘Beguiled’

Join Eya to learn and sing a newly commissioned community piece composed by Chanda Rule, “Beguiled.” This special commission will be featured in our culminating Beguiled performance (Nov 20).

This unique and extraordinary piece features spoken story with a musical refrain. The music is clear and simple, but goes deep. 

Come to listen to the music, then learn the refrain with the ensemble. You are invited to join in this piece at home at our final performance, as this refrain will be placed throughout the span of the program.
